FULLERTON, CA – Eight hundred loyal supporters will honor past and present cancer warriors at the 30^th of St. Jude Medical Center’s A Walk Among the Stars event on Saturday, November 16 at the Anaheim Marriott.

In honor of its pearl anniversary, the gala will feature a champagne reception, three-course dinner, a premier live and silent auction, and its most inspiring fashion show to date. Guests will dance the night away to a musical performance by LA Allstars Entertainment, one of Southern California’s premier bands.

Since its inception, the event has raised over $2 million to fund innovations in cancer treatment and technology, clinical trials, and support programs to ensure patients receive high-quality care. This year’s gala event will complete St. Jude’s most critical endeavor for women’s health: acquiring six state-of-the-art 3D mammography units for its nationally accredited Kathryn T. McCarty Breast Center that serves 30,000 patients every year.

A Walk Among the Stars was created 30 years ago, when a group of women came together to create a fundraising event unlike any other for St. Jude Medical Center’s Crosson Cancer Institute: a fashion show featuring cancer patients and survivors. This signature event has grown into a community-wide celebration of survivorship for those who fight the battle every day—and the hospital that helps them win. Thirty models will grace this year’s runway, allowing them to let their strength and courage to shine and inspire hope in finding a cure.
