Thousands of patients and families get more precious time with their loved ones because of the advanced treatment they receive at Providence St. Jude Medical Center. Thanks to our generous donor community, the Crosson Cancer Institute is one of the nation’s top cancer treatment programs. Philanthropy funds our innovation and touches every aspect of care — from clinical programs, genetic research and leading-edge technology to breakthroughs in immunology.
A donation for cancer makes a difference. Here’s proof.
The event’s ultimate success was reflected in the generosity of its guests, with an astonishing $720,000 raised. This incredible milestone ensures Providence St. Jude can continue in its mission of providing high-level care and support to cancer patients and their families who entrust us with their care.
For the past four years, our friends at BMW of Buena Park have raised $150,000 through their DRVPNK Across America Day and Power of Pink event. The dealership also provided “Totes for Hope” comfort bags filled with blankets, socks and messages of encouragement to deliver to patients at the Crosson Cancer Institute.
Melissa Ferguson was churning through the health system, advocating for labs, getting reassured she was fine. But then: colorectal cancer. Thankfully, she landed at Providence St. Jude Medical Center’s Crosson Cancer Institute.
