Ringing the Gratitude Bell
Loyal supporters Marty and Seon Burbank made a generous donation to sponsor a Gratitude Bell for the new Providence St. Jude Memorial Foundation offices. Used to celebrate every philanthropic gift, the bell represents the joyous partnership between Providence St. Jude and its steadfast community of donors.
Sharing a Collective Vision
Families of St. Juliana Falconieri Catholic School came together to support the Crosson Cancer Institute through pink ribbon t-shirt sales, presenting a check to caregivers for over $3,000. Students learned the rewarding impact of serving their community and how their principal, Dr. Manuel Gonzales, has a personal connection to the cause as his sister was an oncology patient 11 years ago.
Providing Solace to Cancer Patients
Stage4 Ministries’ Solace group made a visit to the Crosson Cancer Institute to provide patients with care bags filled with items to ease their treatment during chemotherapy sessions. Solace, a small group ministry for those facing grave illnesses, wanted to ensure that no one is alone during their journey to recovery.
Community Partnership
Thank you, Fullerton Rotary Club, for selecting Providence St. Jude as a recipient of a Community Investment Award, which will be used for low-income seniors needing financial assistance for medical resources not covered by insurance. The 30-year partnership with the Rotary Club has been essential for creating healthier communities within Orange County.
