Driving Out Cancer
For the past four years, our friends at BMW of Buena Park have raised $150,000 through their DRVPNK Across America Day and Power of Pink event. The dealership also provided “Totes for Hope” comfort bags filled with blankets, socks and messages of encouragement to deliver to patients at the Crosson Cancer Institute.
Cheering on Our Warriors
Providence St. Jude partnered with THE Breast Cancer Fundraiser for the annual WeGive Day to bring love, laughter and light to women recently diagnosed with breast cancer. Caregivers cheered on patients and their families as they drove through collecting items like journals, neck pillows and comfy socks to lift their spirits.
Inaugural BMW Pink Classic
BMW of Buena Park hosted their first-ever BMW Pink Classic, Drive Fore a Cure Golf Tournament at the Los Coyotes Country Club benefiting the Crosson Cancer Institute. The charity event combined a love for golf with a noble cause, as participants teed off in support of advancing patient care.
A Love Language
Korean Moving Library is an organization focused on helping young students learn Korean by using a rotating collection of books. The organization raised $400 at a children’s bazaar and were so inspired by Providence St. Jude’s mission that they decided to donate the funds to the hospital.
Scrub Hat Donation
High school student Alina Zhang joined forces with local Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts of America troops eager to learn sewing skills. She patiently taught these middle school-aged Scouts the art of sewing, resulting in the creation of 100 scrub hats, which were generously donated to Providence St. Jude, embodying the spirit of community.
Saddle Up to Support
High Horse Saloon, downtown Fullerton’s newest western-style restaurant and bar, organized a night of southern comfort to support the cancer programs at Providence St. Jude. The fundraiser included a night of line dancing and delicious southern dishes. The foundation proudly welcomed them into our loyal community of supporters.
A Pizza of Our Hearts
Two Saucy Broads Pizza in Fullerton once again supported the Crosson Cancer Institute by dedicating their “August Pizza of the Month” sales in memory of the owners’ late mother and her battle with cancer. This year they raised almost $2,000 thanks to the hearty appetites of our community and their unwavering support for the medical center.
