2022 Awardee, Physician Champion

During his 15 years at Providence St. Jude Medical Center, Dr. David Park has cared for hundreds of patients, often building close relationships that endure for years.

As the medical director of the Crosson Cancer Institute, Dr. Park has been an important partner for the Foundation’s various fundraising campaigns and is an active participant in physician panels, town halls and board meetings. Besides being an advocate of philanthropy, Dr. Park’s leadership has been essential in creating a world-class cancer program at Providence St. Jude.

Dr. Park and his family are generous supporters of the Foundation. His wife, Helen, previously served on the A Walk Among the Stars Fashion Show & Gala committee for multiple years and is a regular attendee of the cancer charity event. In addition, one of his daughters recently published a book of poems and donated all proceeds to support the Crosson Cancer Institute.
