Meet Our New Board Members
Cindy Shin
Cindy Shin is an entrepreneur businesswoman who founded
and has run SHIN Imaging Center for 20 years in Los Angeles
and Orange County. Previously an English teacher in Korea,
Cindy immigrated to the U.S. in 1998 and became a certified
MRI technician. In 2002, she founded SHIN MRI in Koreatown
to provide affordable, accessible and quality patient care.
When asked why she joined Providence St. Jude’s Foundation
Board, Cindy shared, “I believe in Providence St. Jude Medical
Center’s compassionate, reliable and highest commitment to
patient care for the community.”
Mayor Peggy Huang
Mayor Peggy Huang is a 15-year resident of Yorba Linda who
is passionate about serving the community, with a focus on
advocacy for abused, neglected and developmentally delayed
children. She received her undergraduate degree at the
University of California, Berkeley and her Juris Doctorate, as
well as a specialized certificate of governmental affairs, from
the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law.
“I am so grateful to the medical staff for the excellent care that
my husband and I have received. By supporting the medical
center, it is an opportunity for me to support the Providence
St. Jude staff in providing care to the patients.”
