My first encounter with cancer began in May 2021 when I made an appointment with a local urologist and was diagnosed with stage II prostate cancer.
I found a large lump in my breast in January 2020, and so I began the journey nobody wants to take. I was devastated and terrified for my future and my three young sons, husband and elderly parents.

In August 2022, I received “the gift” of stage IIIA triple-negative breast cancer. In spite of the agonizing physical sufferings and uncertain outcome of my fight with this aggressive diagnosis, it was one of the greatest “gifts” I have received.
