My journey began after a follow up on a biopsy taken on June 22nd, 2022. On July 8th, 2022, my world shattered after the doctor gave me the bad news that I had advanced stage prostate cancer with a Gleason score of 9 stage 4A.
Eight years ago, in August 2016, my cancer journey began shortly after celebrating our 59th wedding anniversary on an Alaskan cruise.
In August 2015, nine months after I gave birth to my daughter, Ava, I became very sick thinking I had a case of the stomach flu.
