Officers

Mike Verity grew up in Fullerton and attended Claremont McKenna College, where he met his wife Amy. They both had ROTC scholarships and became active duty Army officers after graduation. Amy was stationed in Hawaii, so he joined her when his time was up and went to business school at the University of Hawaii. Then he started a career in investment management at First Hawaiian Bank.

Thad Sandford is a retired Colonel with 26 years of service in the Air Force with assignments almost exclusively in Research and Development. He was awarded the Legion of Merit and the meritorious service medal.

Terry Brick grew up in Inglewood and graduated from college in Claremont. A third generation California native who has lived in Fullerton for 42 years, she has been a teacher, a fundraiser, and founded a children’s theater group. She has volunteered for numerous non-profits including St. Jude Memorial Foundation, P.E.O., Fullerton Sunrise Rotary and the Philharmonic Society of Orange County.

Mike Hernandez has more than 24-years as a volunteer leader at Providence St Jude Medical Center. Currently Foundation Finance Committee Chair, Hospital Board of Trustee Chair and Providence California South Division Board member.

Laura Ramos is the chief executive of Providence St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton

Dub Drees joined St. Jude Memorial Foundation in 2019 from Verity Health System where she served as the Vice President of Communications and Philanthropy.
